Futsal, like sport itself, brings numerous benefits to its participants at the personal, family, and community levels, in addition to cultivating social values and fostering unity among people from different social classes and living conditions. Therefore, Schneider Futsal Academy becomes a vitally important initiative, encompassing all these aspects in a single project.

The SFA is a social action project planned by experts, with structured objectives, activities, and results, focused on teaching futsal. The focus will be on teaching the sport and on gradual development, focused on developing citizens who are aware of the importance of sports practice and who enjoy futsal, whether playing or watching, regardless of whether they are professional athletes. In this way, the Futsal School will directly contribute to the complete development of the student.

It's well known that most clubs and schools that work with Futsal focus on the results of the game, winning tournaments and titles, rather than promoting fun and proper learning for their athletes. The success of a developmental program should be measured by the development of different personality domains (psychomotor, socio-affective, and cognitive), and this should be the only way to motivate children and young people to play sports. The concept of pleasure and fun are essential factors to be developed as a way to help children and young people develop a lifelong love of Futsal.

Children and young people learn, develop, and have more fun playing in smaller spaces, as part of small teams, and following simplified rules. Age-appropriate dimensions of

courts, goals, and balls, combined with simplified rules and tactics, will allow for the

full development of children, young people, and the game itself.

The main factors that led Futsal to be the main activity chosen by SFA were: . Development of tactical and technical skills .Reducing the size of the court and the number of players allows for greater interaction, greater contact with the ball, and consequently, greater opportunities for tactical and technical development. . More practice and learning time. .Children and young people, having more contact time and being in contact with the ball more often, end up developing secondary motor skills (conditional and coordination) better. . Active participation of all children and young people: .Children rarely develop if they are absent or participate little in the game, so it is important that everyone has the opportunity to actively participate in games. . Avoid early specialization in children: Children are still learning the essence of the game, so they should not be assigned a specific position. Ideally, they should experiment with different positions and game contexts. Avoid excessive instruction and tactical guidance. .The game in a small space should have simple characteristics, and the rules should be minimal. The most important thing is to encourage the child to play. .Promote success at all costs. .Victory and results should not be emphasized. .Success at younger ages should be emphasized on personality development, the enjoyment of participation, and the tactical and technical knowledge/ability demonstrated during practice. .Promote interest and motivation. .Many children may lose interest and concentration when playing 4v4 or 5v5, since the ball and goalpost may be far away. .Facilitate decision-making. . Due to the reduced number of children and young people and the size of the court, decision-making is facilitated. .Game situations are repeated regularly, allowing for a faster understanding of the game. .Develop children's and young people's awareness. .The game should be adapted to the characteristics and needs of each age group. .Small-sided games help children and young people gain greater awareness and understanding of the game at their own pace.
