About

Schneider Futsal Academy was officially created in 2010 in Chicago by Pedro Figueiredo, ex-professional soccer player from Brazil. We opened our Arizona location in 2021 when Pedro and his family moved to Phoenix, Arizona.

At SFA, We offer opportunities for all levels of players looking to get the total futsal experience. We teach and educate our players what the futsal countries have been doing for decades and years.

Futsal develops several  important aspects that the  soccer players in USA  are missing because they do not train and play futsal as a younger player .SFA saw that need in America soccer culture and developed an unique curriculum  to help soccer player to reach their dreams through futsal training. Players such as Victor  and Luka Bezerra ( Indiana University & Chicago Fire), Deijan Garcia ( Chicago Fire and Honduras National Team), Stefan Dabic ( Chicago Magic & Red Stars) and many others have been helped by SFA services.

Why SFA?

Club-Neutral Program – Designed to minimize conflicts with outdoor soccer while giving athletes from all clubs a chance to come together, to train and compete alongside players and coaches outside their regular clubs. We enforce the benefits of true, transparent communication with soccer clubs regarding each player's situation and development

Proven Futsal-to-Soccer Development – Created by Pedro Figueiredo (psychology degree from Judson University,IL, Sport Marketing and communication specialization, A & B License from Conmebol, over 25 years of experience coaching soccer and futsal in USA, former professional soccer player- Goias E.C. and Flamengo-Brazilian top professional teams). Led by experienced futsal coaches, including former professional player Marcio Giovanini, Cassio Augusto, Michael Anspach , Brian Wilhelmsen, Joao Cruz, Essie, Emily, and Citta Anspach. We design our program to help Futsal benefits (individual and group tactics and technical) translate to the soccer game.

Mission-Driven Model: – Focused on using futsal to elevate the outdoor game through specialized, club-neutral training. Unlike programs that treat futsal only as a recruiting tool, SFA stays rooted in futsal itself—leveraging its unique benefits for player growth and competition regionally and nationally, so players go back to the outdoor/soccer club environment with higher confidence and set of skills.
