The FDP - Rec Level is a beginning level program that helps introduce the game of futsal.

PROGRAM DETAILS​

Age Groups

  • 5 - 13 Years Old

  • Birth years 2020 - 2012

  • Boys and Girls​

8-week program 

  • Two (2) sessions per week

    • Practice and Game 

  • Offered in the winter, spring, summer, & fall season

Player Requirements

  • Beginning Level Players

  • Best for players that play in:

    • AYSO, AYSO Extra

    • Club Soccer Flight 3 / Bronze Level Teams

    • City Recreation Programs

  • Players are new or have little experience playing futsal or soccer

Equipment Required

  • Indoor Soccer Shoes / Tennis Shoes (NO SOCCER CLEATS)

  • Shin Guards

WHAT DO PLAYERS LEARN?

  • Introduction to the game & rules

  • Introduction to the basic fundamentals:

    • dribbling skill, passing, receiving, shooting

  • Introduction to basic tactics​

    • player positioning, defending, attacking, movement on & off the ball, & more

  • ​Fitness Improvement

    • speed, footwork, coordination, reactions, & more

  • Short-Sided Games

    • 1 v 1, 2 v 2, 3 v 3, 2 v 1, & more
